Aged, Blind and Disabled Medicaid is for individuals age 65 or older, blind or disabled individuals of any age.  Individuals must meet income and resource limits.  Individuals who meet the age or disability criteria but whose incomes are higher than the income limit, can use the cost of medical care to “spend-down” or offset their  income to qualify for Medicaid.

Medicaid Buy-In for the Worker Disabled (MBIWD) enables disabled individuals, under age 65,  to increase their earned income and resources without the risk of losing vital health care coverage.

Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Waivers is a Medicaid  program that  helps  individuals stay at home instead of entering a nursing facility or a hospital.
